01 / The difference you can see

Your knee
doesn’t run alone.

A short knee sleeve focuses on the joint. V2 extends onto the lower quadriceps and over the calf, linking three regions in one garment.

The reason behind the shape: keep the knee at the center, with compression coverage above and below it.

A closer look at the research setting

From design to testing.

A testing image shows research in practice. The numbers above come from their named sources, not from the photograph.

This image does not establish improved knee mechanics, running economy or proprioception.

03 / What wearing it looks like

The shape is technical.
The choice is personal.

Look at the sleeve on a bent knee. Then use your measurements to choose the fit, rather than guessing from a photo.

V2 reaches higher onto the lower quadriceps, crosses the knee and continues over the calf.

The orange outline shows that extended coverage. Switch formats to see how it differs from a sleeve focused around the knee.

Coverage is a design choice. Whether it changes a runner’s movement or experience requires product-specific testing.

Understand the sensory side of compression

GENERAL CONCEPT / NOT A V2 RESULT

Movement has
a sensory side.

Proprioception is your body’s sense of position and movement. It helps you know where your leg is without looking at it.

Skin contact can provide sensory input. That explains why textile contact is relevant to discuss, alongside shape and fit.

01

Contact

A sleeve adds contact at the skin.

02

Sensory input

The skin contributes information to the nervous system.

03

Product-specific testing

A measured improvement in proprioception must be tested with the actual sleeve and a defined task.

This explains a general concept. It does not establish that Flytex V2 improves proprioception, running mechanics or performance.

06 / Athlete experience

A demanding week.
A personal choice.

Matt Johnson wore Flytex during Project 7: six full-distance triathlons in six days, followed by a partial seventh day.

Why he chose to wear it

Matt told Flytex that compression and joint support helped him cope with sore muscles and aching joints across consecutive days of effort.

Paraphrased from Matt’s feedback as reported by Flytex. Personal experience; individual results vary.

His experience shows how Flytex can fit an athlete’s kit. Your choice should come back to your activity, fit and expectations.

Before you choose

Still have
a question?

Will Flytex V2 stop my knee pain?

A sleeve cannot guarantee pain relief for everyone. The knee-symptom figure here comes from a basketball subgroup, not a running trial proving relief for every V2 buyer. If pain persists or changes, seek medical advice rather than using a sleeve to ignore it.

How is it different from a short knee sleeve?

V2 extends onto the lower quadriceps and over the calf, with the knee between them. This is the visible coverage difference. More coverage alone does not establish greater pain relief or performance.

Does 92% satisfaction mean 92% get pain relief?

No. The survey asked whether respondents were satisfied with V2. It did not establish a 92% pain-relief rate.

Does the trail study prove faster recovery?

No. It found a lower raw average muscle-soreness score at 48 hours in the Flytex group, but the difference was not statistically significant. The groups were not randomized and starting soreness differed.

How do I choose my size?

Use your measurements and the current V2 size guide on the product page. If you fall between sizes, ask Flytex for guidance before choosing.

Where do I check price, shipping and returns?

Check the current product page and store policies before paying. This private proposal does not quote a fixed price, delivery time or return guarantee.
